Made in Saint-Etienne, France since 1946; heavyweight aluminum with stainless steel grinding mechanism in a classic style; measures 3 x 2.5 x 4.5-inches and holds 40-grams of salt. The adjustable burr-style grinding mechanism changes texture with subtle turns of the bottom locking nut. The front-loading chute allows easy filling; open chute, add coarse salt, close chute, and turn crank-style handle for a smooth grinding action. This grinder is built to last a lifetime; strong, durable, will never dull, oxidize, rust, or corrode.
