The Large Carvers’ Board from our Standard Line is the largest size board that we produce – outside of our custom works. The Standard Line boards may display natural characteristics in some of the wooden blocks used to create the swirling end grain patterns, but these growth features do not affect the construction or quality of the board. They just do not meet our workshop guidelines to be classified as a Premium board and this allows you to purchase one of our end grain cutting boards at a very reasonable price. The Large Carvers’ board has a juice moat and a spacious cutting surface measuring 24 x 15 inches. Handmade at our factory on Cape Breton Island by our talented team of craftspeople, it will be a centerpiece of any kitchen or dining table for generations. As with all of our cutting boards, it comes with bottom-mounted rubber feet to prevent the board from moving while working on it, makes the board much easier to grasp and pick-up, and stops moisture build-up beneath the board.
