The Peach was planted in 2007 by Karen Morava, a passionate and creative artist with a love of all things French.

At CarefulPeach Karen offers a unique selection of brands of apothecary luxuries, handmade jewelry, accessories, table linens, fine tabletop pieces, stationery, gourmet foods, cooking accessories, home decor, and oh so much more. With a mixture of vintage and new pieces, Karen seeks out unique European and American products that exude sophistication and whimsy, while maintaining high quality and high standards. Eco-friendliness and social consciousness are integral parts of who we are.

Since opening CarefulPeach over a decade ago, Karen’s mission is to contribute to our vibrant community. CarefulPeach is a frequent donor to the Oak Park Animal Care League, and consistently partners with other local charities such as Hephzibah Children’s Association, Sarah’s Inn, and the OPRF Infant Welfare Society. As a rescue-animal owner herself, Karen also has an open doggy-door policy and welcomes all #peachpups to join their humans when they shop.
